What is the NetBeans plugin?

The NetBeans plugin allows you to transfer your Alice .a3p program to the NetBeans IDE (http://netbeans.org). You can then continue to code and run your program within NetBeans.

At this time you cannot transfer your NetBeans code back into Alice.  It is a one-way ticket (first class, of course).

How do I uninstall Alice?

  • Make  sure Alice is not running on your computer.
  •

Windows, use the Uninstaller of the Windows Operating System, found in the Control Panel.

         Uninstall on Windows 8

         Uninstall on Windows 7

For Mac OS X,  in the Finder sidebar, click Applications., drag Alice 3 from the Applications folder to the Trash (located at the end of the Dock), then choose Finder > Empty Trash. If you change your mind, before emptying the Trash, select the app in the Trash, then choose File > Put Back.

How do I install Alice 3.2 in unattended (silent) mode? (for Alice 3.2.x.x.x and following)

Network administrators may wish to perform a silent installation of Alice 3 on their systems. The current Alice 3 installer has been built using the installation tool, install4j. See the following link for information on installing Alice 3 from the console and / or performing a silent installation.
