All -- we will continue to monitor and reply to as many comments posted on the wiki as we can. However, visiting every page on the wiki and searching for new comments will soon become a very difficult and tedious task (as I imagine the number of pages will continue to grow). If you have a question directed towards the Alice Team, and it's not something you feel is appropriate to add within the body of a page (or worthy of creating a new page on the topic), please use our community forums super secret beta area to post about it. I get sent email every time a post is made, so it's guaranteed to be looked at. (Link below)
With that said, I will continue to monitor wiki comments as often as I can.
Welcome to the official Alice 3 Beta wiki!
If you are capable of viewing this site, you are one of the unlucky few brave enough to venture into the waters of beta testing educational software with a real live grade-dependent class. This site is one of our efforts to make us a more tight-knit family of sufferers.
If you are new to wikis, or new to contributing to wikis, this is basically a user-contributed website/resource. You can add pages and notes and materials that may provide help to others, as well as modify or correct entries made by others.
We are hoping teaching materials, videos, links, words of wisdom and other forms of content find their way onto these hallowed pages. Please don't be shy about adding stuff.
Materials posted here are intended for classroom instruction and evaluation. These materails may only be used only by the beta-testing community. They may not be used for any commercial purposes without written consent from the author.
As a reminder for something you may already know:
- Please don't share this site with your students or others who may be able to use the content to cheat.
- Please don't share this site with non-beta-testers.
One last last thing: Thank you very much for being a part of our beta team. You have no idea how much we appreciate your help in making Alice 3 a stable, usable and successful teaching tool.
