Alice is not the only software package experiencing difficulties with outdated video drivers. There are many programs facing this problem.
Once such program, Tribal Trouble © 2004-2008 Oddlabs ApS, has put together a very thorough set of instructions on updating video cards.
We have modified their instructions for use with Alice 3.1.
