What is the NetBeans plugin?

The NetBeans plugin allows you to transfer your Alice .a3p program to the NetBeans IDE (http://netbeans.org). You can then continue to code and run your program within NetBeans.

You cannot transfer your NetBeans code back into Alice.  It is a one-way ticket (first class, of course).
